woohoo.

otakon was kick-ass and not kick-ass. i definitely had more fun than last year, but i also was in more pain than i was last year...hey, why don't you try carrying around an eight-foot-tall cross that weighs 30 pounds, and you see how it feels.
but i was so happy when we won 3rd place in the costume contest. i even fan-serviced with liesa & maria in front of all those people. i think ray & maria are right when they say that we need to find a new con to attend. otakon is getting waayy too crowded.
i'm never able to describe otakon to people who've never been to a con. at one point on saturday night, i had this moment where i said to myself, jesus, i'm watching six of the main characters from naruto dance to thriller. 'twas odd indeed. i know most people think cons are full of geeks who sniffle and push their glasses up their noses as they talk about their high ddr scores, but it's not exactly like that. well, it is more perverted. the rabid yaoi and yuri fans wouldn't have it any other way. *grins* and i am a rabid yaoi fangirl. *chesire cat grin*
