girly stuffi'm extremely happy i wasn't in de for thanksgiving, or i would've missed out on all the fun. black friday shopping was insane....i love charlotte. i had to be restrained from removing those cute black slingbacks from kate spade, but other than that, it was great fun. spent at least an hour wandering the shoe department at nordstrom's, with the words "this isn't fair" running through my head. if only i could've come up with a good reason to spend $150 on one pair of shoes...even if they were via spigas. *sighs* anthropologie is officially my new favorite store. the sale room was the best: too many women in a dimly lit, too-small room going toe-to-toe over floor-to-ceiling, color-coded items of clothing. it was rather like a large group of lionesses fighting over the remains of a wildebeest somewhere in the african savanna. i almost didn't make it out of the red section with my radically reduced sweater in hand. luckily, i managed to duck around a large rack of pink pants and make it to safety. i love shopping.
