today:
yesterday, it felt almost like it might have been spring. the weather really needs to make up its mind.
d.c. was so much fun yesterday! i'm glad i didn't put off going any longer than i already had. >_<;; i think that the freer-sackler galleries at the smithsonian are my favorite. simryn gill was an interesting artist. she takes books, cuts them into strips of paper, and makes them into necklaces: 
super cool! she also did a really big spiral-shaped installation of chili peppers and silver cutlery she found in Australian thrift stores:
and then i went and walked around the little garden they have:
